FTC Disclosure Requirements
As an influencer marketing platform, Nexfluence is committed to ensuring all content created through our platform complies with Federal Trade Commission (FTC) guidelines regarding endorsements and testimonials in advertising.
What is an FTC Disclosure?
An FTC disclosure is a clear and conspicuous statement that reveals the material connection between an influencer and a brand. A material connection includes any financial, employment, personal, or family relationship with a brand.
When is a Disclosure Required?

- Receiving payment for a post
- Receiving free products or services
- Having a business or family relationship with the brand
- Being an employee or owner of the brand
How to Properly Disclose
Disclosures must be:
- Clear and conspicuous: Easy to notice, read, and understand
- Placed where consumers will see it: Near the endorsement and before any links
